Huawei Testes its HongMeng OS on 1 Million Smartphones
Huawei tested its new operating system “HongMeng” on 1 million smartphones. Huawei was working on developing its own operating system since 2012 but didn’t use it before Google refused to provide Android & other Google services to Huawei because of the US ban to Huawei.
Just after two weeks of the announcement Huawei run this test and the new OS will be available as early as this fall or next spring according to the Huawei CEO.
Reports says, HongMeng OS is 60% faster than android and more secure. Its also compatible with all android apps.
Oppo, Xiaomi & some other Chinese smartphone manufacturers have already shown interest on this new operating system.
